Hi guys,
I’m Hardik Kikani, a software engineer who was extremely unhealthy until a few years ago and still on the journey to get to my best self. Despite being fat and 112+ kgs I still used to love playing football, walking and be active.
But despite that, I slowly started gaining more weight and getting tired, I wasn’t able to walk as much as I used to and worst of all, I lost my stamina to play football.
I started getting tired too often and it affected my state of mind. This was on top of the anger and depression I had because of my personal background and things were getting out of hand.
So I decided, enough is enough. I had to change something. As hard as it was, I did it. I identified that a core problem with my life was food addiction, in particular – stress eating.
I started my journey to become healthy and lost around 30 kgs of which the first 20 kgs were lost in just 6 months!
Along the way I’ve tried Intermittent fasting, Warrior diet, OMAD (One meal a day) and much more in order to be healthy but none worked for me perfectly.
Then, I found KETO and it has changed my relationship with food.
I kept cheating with all the other diets, especially the calorie restriction ones, but KETO with IF hit home.
KETO for me is not a diet, it’s simply a healthy lifestyle.
So I’ve decided I’m gonna write posts on this blog with all the things I’ve learned till date and things that I keep learning along the way. I wanna help anyone who is willing and has the motivation to be healthy.
